Privacy

Creating an account uses Supabase Auth with an email address and password. Signing in sets a session cookie so the app knows you're signed in on later requests. No other identity provider or login method is used.

From /account you can optionally add a first name, last name, a public display name, and a unique handle. First and last name are private by default; they're only shown on your profile page if you separately turn on “Show full name.” None of these fields are required to use the app.

Marking an Edition as owned (OWN) or wanted (WANT) records which Edition and when — no purchase price, condition notes, or serial numbers are collected by any current part of the app.

Your profile, collection, and wishlist each have an independent visibility setting, defaulting to Private:

• Private — visible only to you, signed in.
• Unlisted — visible to anyone who has your specific share link (/shared/…); regenerating that link immediately invalidates the old one.
• Public — visible to anyone at your profile's public URL (/collectors/your-handle).

If your profile itself is private, your collection and wishlist are never publicly reachable, regardless of their own settings. A public or unlisted profile never shows your email, your account ID, or anything beyond what's described above.

The catalog database, authentication, and file storage run on Supabase. The site itself is hosted on Vercel.

RARIVUM uses Vercel Web Analytics for aggregate page-view counts. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't collect personal data — see About for more on the project. No other analytics or advertising service is used.
